Recently in the 2020 IMA Annual Award Ceremony, Forge and Flow-Form Magnesium Road Wheel Program, jointly developed by CITIC Dicastal Co., Ltd. and General Motors was awarded 2020 Award of Excellence Process Category.

This is the first Forge and Flow-Form Magnesium Road Wheel Program that is developed for OEM market, and it is the fruit of innovations achieved by Industry-University-Research Collaboration of CITIC Dicastal. By breaking through the technical bottleneck in the past few decades, this program adopts unique forge and flow-form process to improve the strength of Magnesium alloy, and the mass saving of Forge and Flow-Form Magnesium Road Wheel is more than 2 kg compared with that of the same size. What’s more, its good shock absorption performance improves the overall driving experience
