CITIC Dicastal Wins the German iF Industrial Design Award (the Oscar in design industry) for the First Time

German iF Design Award, which is known as the Oscar in design industry, was officially revealed on February 4. The work of Variety Wheel Design Project designed by the team in the Creative Design Center of CITIC Dicastal Engineering Technology Research Institute has attracted some celebrities in international design with its unique humanized design ideas and outstanding appearance design. And has won the iF Design Award in 2020, which was the first internationally design award won by CITIC Dicastal!

The German iF Design Award is one of the most important design awards in the world. It is set up by the oldest industrial design agency in Germany, the Hanover Industrial Design Forum and is famous for its assessing idea of independent, preciseness and reliable. And it symbolizes the achievement of outstanding design. In the assessing of iF Industrial Design Award hold in Hamburg, Germany during January 21, 2020 - 23, 2020, the work of Variety Wheel Design Project designed by the team in the Creative Design Center of CITIC Dicastal Engineering Technology Research Institute has stood up from 7,298 entries from 56 countries after the discussion, test and evaluating of three days and became the winner of iF Design Award in 2020. Variety wheel gives  a new design concept for wheel through the personalized plug-in design, collation of changeable color textures and the reducing of repetition in visual. The plug-in structure has been optimized several times, which enabled to realize easy and quick assembly, safe and reliable at the same time.
